The Birth of Witch

The Birth of Witch
A recovery tablet on which I glued the canvas.
I painted the birth of a witch while listening to a beautiful version of Goethe’s Faust.
First I painted the female figure and a black cloud that this time, thanks to the randomness of the spot, took on the appearance of a bison.  Later I added an ectoplasmic young deer.  Only at the end did the woman’s ears and horns grow and her hair spread like electrified wires in the opposite direction of how the air seems to turn inside the scene.  So I thought she was a witch.  The painting has an old, unprocessed frame, to which I am applying the silver sheet and the typical black that characterizes these paintings of mine.
